There are people all over the world being affected by the economic tailspin. Not only are the average people getting hit by it, but some of the wealthiest people in the world are also suffering the effects. Billionaires and the credit crunch are another thing that people don’t really think about during these times, but they do have their struggles. They are after all human just like the rest of us. Some of the billionaires around the world are finding that the empires that took them years to develop are crumbling around them and they are so despondent that some have attempted suicide and others have actually succeeded. Many of these super rich are finding that the value of their assets are taking huge downward turns, thus affecting the way that they are able to conduct business ventures not to mention the way that they utilize their spare time as well. Know for having elaborate homes and yachts, many are finding it harder than they have in the past to be able to enjoy things to the degree that they had become accustomed. They have to get rid of some of their prized possessions, like yachts and mansions. Many of them have been forced to put ventures on hole in order to free up capital for things that require their immediate attention. The billionaires around the world are finding that the investments that had been giving them great returns have suddenly been going in the opposite direction. They are seeing the fortunes that they have worked hard to acquire and maintain, slowly disappearing as the economy continues to decline. The billionaires affected by the credit crunch are spread worldwide. When they are feeling effects they are reciprocated through the lines and affect people of all types, both the rich and the poor. When these men and woman are feeling the hardships themselves it will reflect on their employees and others that are directly surrounding them. Once again this is a vicious cycle. One that needs to be broken before further devastation is upon us. The feelings of many of the billionaires are that the economy is near the lowest point that it will hit and that the recovery of the economy will begin in late 2009 or early 2010. They feel that the new President of the United States will have a huge impact on this happening and feel very positive about the economic state returning what it was before this major downslide began. One can never think that just because they have a lot of money that the economy won’t affect them. It has and will continue, as we will continue to see billionaires affected by the credit crunch that is happening.
